Natural feeding experience

The unthreshed seed heads of the red millet sprays turn feeding into an activity: birds have to pick the grains off the spray one by one. This matches natural foraging behaviour in the wild and keeps your birds physically and mentally fit.

Feeding recommendation

Offer only in small amounts as a treat! Millet sprays are not suitable as a complete diet, but as an occasional supplement to the main food. Due to their high acceptance, birds may otherwise become overindulgent and neglect other feeds.

Important notes

Despite the low fat content, excessive consumption can lead to overweight. A monotonous diet with large amounts of millet sprays will result in nutrient deficiencies. Therefore combine the millet with a balanced complete feed and offer sunflower seeds only selectively.
