Eurital Usnea Barbata 500 ml is a liquid flavouring based on the beard lichen (Usnea barbata) for homing pigeons. The beard lichen naturally contains usnic acid and has traditionally been used in pigeon keeping during demanding phases such as racing, breeding, and moulting.

Areas of use and dosage

Eurital Usnea Barbata is a natural product for racing pigeons, breeding pigeons, and homing pigeons. The liquid form allows for easy administration via drinking water or feed.

Recommended administration

  • Preparation for racing: 5-day course before transport
  • During racing: Add to drinking water 2x per week
  • Breeding period: Administer continuously for one week
  • Moulting phase: Give 2x per week
Dosage: 1 teaspoon per 1 liter of drinking water or 1 kg of feed.
