Duo Anti Mite Bath Mixture 5 l

Bulk container of the concentrated bath-water additive from Traseco – for larger stocks, multiple compartments, or continuous use throughout the season. The mixture combines diatomaceous earth and silicon dioxide with oregano extract, tea tree oil, and citric acid, ingredients that are traditionally used in poultry keeping for feather care and accompanying coop hygiene.

At 20 ml per 1 liter of bath water, the 5-liter container is enough for around 250 liters of finished bathing solution – significantly more economical in use than the small bottles.

Application and dosage

Shake well before use, then stir into the bath water.

• For regular care: approx. 20 ml per 1 liter of bath water, twice a month
• For increased need: approx. 40 ml per 1 liter, once a week
• For heavy need: approx. 60 ml per 1 liter, twice a week for three weeks

According to the manufacturer, the diluted mixture can also be used for misting cracks, joints, and areas under the nests – where the red poultry mite stays during the day. Prepare bath water fresh, offer it in the morning, and remove it afterward.

Notes

• Follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the label; do not exceed the dosage.
• Store in a cool, frost-free place and out of reach of children.
• In case of a severe mite infestation, a bath additive alone is not enough: the red poultry mite lives in the environment, not on the animal. The effective solution is a combination of mechanical cleaning, treating the cracks, and – as a biological long-term solution – predatory mites in the loft.
