Eurital Probiotic 500g – Probiotic for stable gut flora in homing pigeons

Eurital Probiotic 500 g – Supplementary feed for racing pigeons

Eurital Probiotic is a powder to mix into feed that combines probiotics, prebiotics, humic acids and vitamins in one product. It is mainly used in these phases: racing season, breeding, moulting, and after transport and feed changes.

Composition

• Three probiotic cultures: Bifidobacterium animalis, Lactobacillus salivarius and Enterococcus faecium
• Prebiotics: mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) and fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) – a nutritional base for the included cultures
• Natural humic acids
• Vitamins A, D3 and E

Why combine pro- and prebiotics

Probiotics are living microorganisms, prebiotics are their nutritional base. Only together do they form a meaningful pair: the cultures supplied need something they can feed on. MOS and FOS take on exactly this role.

Dosage

• Standard: 10 g per 1 kg of feed
• During periods of strain – racing, breeding, moulting – give more often as needed
• For prize flights, giving it on the day of the race and the following two days has proven effective

Application

• Mix the powder evenly into the feed. To help it stick to the grain, lightly moisten the feed with feed oil first.
• Prepare only as much as will be fed on the same day.
• Store in a dry, cool, sealed place – live cultures are sensitive to moisture and heat.
