Refona Mite Booster Refill Cartridge

Replacement cartridge for the Refona Mite Booster. The cartridge is a capsule in which predatory mites (Dutchy's) live; inside, there is a consistently favourable level of humidity, so the beneficial insects multiply and gradually move into the surrounding area over the course of weeks.

The holder stays in the coop - only the cartridge is replaced. This makes long-term prevention against the red poultry mite (Dermanyssus gallinae) economical to maintain.

Application

• Remove the old cartridge from the holder and insert the new one.
• Choose a position as close as possible to perches, nests, and cracks.
• Attach in a place protected from direct sunlight, drafts, and moisture.

Areas of use

Suitable for pigeons, chickens, and other poultry, aviary birds, as well as reptiles and snakes. Also effective against the tropical bird mite (Ornithonyssus bursa).
