How does Avisana work?
Avisana forms a probiotic liquid film on the nose, eyes and affected areas of the body. This supports a stable microflora on the mucous membrane and helps care for sensitive areas. Avisana is especially valuable in bad weather conditions, after training flights or after long-distance flights.
Use in pigeons
For racing pigeons before and after the flight:
- Before every long-distance flight: 1 drop per nostril when placing the pigeons.
- After the flight: Use on the day of arrival or when separating the sexes.
- In wet weather flights: Use after training flights to care for irritated mucous membranes.
Year-round use for problems:
- For discolored nostrils or watery eyes: 2x daily, 1 drop each into each nostril.
- For wounds or at-risk skin areas: Fully moisten the affected area with Avisana.
- For prevention: Use regularly on susceptible birds.
